Ash Meadows & Devil’s Hole

I’d always heard of Devil’s Hole but never thought about taking the time to check it out. So one day after bagging a trio of peaks outside of Pahrump, DB and I decided to head over to Ash Meadows and see what was going on.
What we found out at Ash Meadows was a wonderful wildlife refuge of lakes and shallow streams, tranquil pools of warm water, and of course, Devil’s Hole — home of the endangered Pahrump pupfish!
This is a special place. I long to go there again.
